WildStar: Aethros Guide

Aethros is the second boss in the WildStar dungeon, Stormtalon’s Lair. This guide covers the normal, level 20 difficulty of the encounter.

Boss Strategy

Phase 1

1. Simple tank and spank while avoiding telegraphs
2. Air Shift cast signals phase transition

Phase 2

1. Splits into 3x adds
2. Tank should grab all 3x adds, while DPS bursts them down

Transition

1. Throws party to beginning of room while channeling Tempest
2. Party must run back to boss avoiding lightning and tornadoes
3. Interrupt boss (2 interrupt armor) to stop channel
4. Will cast Torrent which places a medium sized telegraph under each player
5. Repeat from Phase 1

Note: After the second transition the tornadoes will continue to move so continue avoiding them as you finish off the boss.
