Z0-0M is a companion available in Star Wars: The Old Republic, who is widely considered the best healing companion in the game, due to their hidden bonus AOE, making them the most optimal healer. While this companion was available as part of the subscription during a promotion back in 2016, that is no longer the case and players must purchase its unlock via Cartel Coins, the game’s real money currency. This companion is highly desirable, given the amount of soloable content in the game, so let’s dive into how to acquire Z0-0M.
Pre-requisites
- Purchase and use the Cartel Market item, “HK-55 Chapter: Shroud of Memory“. **
- If you had an active subscription between January 11, 2016 to August 1, 2016, you may have this unlocked already for free.
- This item is currently 3,800 Cartel Coins.
- Launch and complete Knights of the Fallen Empire, Chapter IX (The Alliance).
- Complete the mission, “To Find a Findsman”.
- Launch and complete the Alliance Alert, “Arma Rasa”.
- This is located under “Companions & Contacts”.
- Finally, launch and complete “Shroud of Memory”.
** Note – While you only have to purchase the Cartel Market item once, you will have to complete the remaining steps on every character you want to acquire Z0-0M on.
Upon completing the “Shroud of Memory” mission, you will now have Z0-0M as an available companion – congratulations! Now either burn a ton of companion gifts or just purchase a “Commander’s Compendium” on the Cartel Market to boost Z0-0M up to rank 50. Set the companion to Heal, and enjoy having the Best in Slot (BiS) Heal companion!
** If you accidentally dismissed Z0-0M during the last conversation prompt of the “Shroud of Memory” mission, you can recover them as a companion via the Companion Locator Terminal in your Alliance Camp Headquarters on Odessen (location in screenshot below).
